Yet in Exodus, we find that Moses claims he was not a good speaker: Exodus 4:10, 14; 6:12, 30.
“Mighty in words” does not necessarily mean that Moses spoke well; it could also mean that he was a powerful writer (see II Corinthians 10:10). Or, Moses could have had a speech-impairing stroke while in Midian before returning to Egypt.
