"Did Jesus tell His disciples everything?" (Alleged Contradiction #E6474)
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
Obviously, Jesus didn’t tell His disciples everything, as that would take an eternity (Jesus is infinite in wisdom). The point is that Jesus spoke with His disciples as trusted friends—He didn’t hide anything from them. He knew that they would not appreciate some things at this point, and so He didn’t bother telling them about these things, but He did not hide anything from them that they wanted to know.
